The result is a system with the best finish and most effective environmental safeguards available.

PPG's refinish business also distinguishes itself through training. A comprehensive training program carried out in over 40 Business Development Centers throughout the world not only teaches collision center operators the most current refinish system techniques, but also provides education on sales, marketing, environmental issues, and customer service.

1.) A German automotive refinish master painter uses PPG's new waterborne refinish system to repair this car. The new formulations help refinish centers to comply with increasingly stringent environmental regulations.

2) Color matching is critical to customer satisfaction. PPG's color information system can supply color formulas for 280,000 colors to match virtually any color used by any automobile manufacturer over the past several decades.

3) PPG's Prophet color analyzing system "reads" the color from a car's surface then transmits the information through a custom-designed computer data system to provide collision centers with the color formula for an exact match.

5) PPG's Global Refinish line combined the best technologies from PPG's refinish operations all over the world into one common system. The product line enables PPG to serve customers worldwide with a common formula and one color match system for consistency and efficiency.
